Sudanese military government grants police impunity for human right violations including torture, killing, and raping protestors

The following videos, which are a few from many, show how the Sudanese police officers use unjustifiable violence against unarmed protestors who take to street demanding for democracy and basic human rights. The police, security forces, and rapid support forces (Janjaweed) torture civilians on the street, steal their properties, and rape women.

Sudanese military truck drove into a crowd of peaceful protesters in the capital of Sudan. The incident took place on January 6, 2022 after protestors took to street demanding for basic human rights and democratic translation. Three civilians were killed by the military forces and hundreds were injured.

An Islamist Sudanese leader (Sulaiman Sandel Hagar) tells members of security forces and rapid support forces that the General Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman al-Burhan , Commander-In-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, order them to shoot the protestors without mercy. (The video appreads on Jan 2, 2022)


Some Sudanese security forces were torturing a protestor and pushing him onto a police truck. The torture including kicking on his face and stomach continued. Later the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital (date: Jan 2, 2022).


Some of the Sudanese security forces killed a protestor on the street. They kept kicking him even when they knew that he was already dead. An order issued by the General Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman al-Burhan , Commander-In-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces granting the security forces, police forces, and the rapid support forces (Janjaweed) the impunity for killing unarmed protestors. (date: Jan 2, 2022).


A group of the Sudanese rapid support forces (Janjaweed) fire on an old civilian of above 65 years old and his children for no reason; only because he opened a window for watching. The police have become more violent after impunity has been granted to them by the top military general that they will not be held accountable for torturing, killing, or raping any of the civilians. (date: Jan 2, 2022).
